Recreational Gymnastics
Gymnastics is one of the most comprehensive lifestyle exercise programs available in society. It incorporates strength, flexibility, speed, balance, coordination, power, spatial awareness, and discipline. Our gymnastic curriculums emphasize correct technique in a progressive and fun manner. Our teachers encourage each student to achieve success in a positive learning atmosphere, where personal best is strived for. ABK conducts Gymnastics Evaluation Week (G.E.W.) six times throughout the year. This system will keep track of your child’s progressions and rewards them for completion of each level of skills. This will give your child an opportunity to shine in the spotlight and feel success through their efforts. Our coach’s "Mat Chats" allow students to learn about good character values such as cooperation, sportsmanship, and integrity.
Girl’s Gymnastics
Our girl’s gymnastics classes offer skill progressions on tumbling, trampoline, balance beam, uneven bars, and vaulting. As each level is passed students receive a Certificate of Achievement, a medal, and a gymnastic bracelet representing their newly acquired level! Self-discipline, raised self-esteem, focus, and organization are great side benefits of the concentration required to successfully perform the skills.
Boy’s Gymnastics
We have found that the majority of boys are not looking for another competitive sport, but rather a fun way to cross-train and stay fit. They are looking for a place to learn basic acrobatic training for snowboarding, skateboarding, wake boarding, free running, martial arts, and other sports. Our program uses plyometrics, tumbling, and trampolines for lower body strength and cardio fitness, and high bars, rings, and rock climbing for upper body strength. We'll also work on the basics of flipping and aerial awareness. All of these gymnastic activities are beneficial to boys no matter what path they take with other sports or fitness.
Power Tumbling
Power Tumbling is an exciting class designed to focus on developing tumbling skills. Through the use of trampolines, spring floors, and other equipment, all levels of tumblers will have fun and reach their goals. This class is great for cheerleaders, free runners, martial artists and other extreme sport athletes.

Teen-Tastics
We have found that the majority of teens are not looking for formalized gymnastics, but rather a fun way to cross-train, condition, stay fit, and flip! They're looking for a place to learn basic acro training, and have a great time hanging out with their peers. Our program is for both boys and girls, age 12 through 18. This program is designed to enhance lower body strength and cardio fitness through tumbling and plyometrics. Upper body strength will be targeted with use of high bars, rings, and rock climbing. Students will also gain agility, and accomplish the basics of flipping. Teen-Tastics is a great opportunity for teenagers to work-out in a fun social atmosphere.
